Haverhill Public Schools is Hiring an Early College Coordinator (FT) Near Haverhill, MA
- Reports directly to the Supervisor of School Counseling, K-12, Building Principal, and/or his/her designee as well as the Superintendent and/or his/her designee.
- The Early College Coordinator is an integral member of the Early College Team, consisting of a College and Career Counselor, Engagement Specialist, Early College Promise Coordinator and Clerk, all of which are part of the School Counseling Department at Haverhill High School.
- Assist with mid-year and end of year reports for the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
- SIMS data collection and reporting as required throughout the school year.
- Coordinating and drafting Early College budgets and college career related grants.
- Adherence to state and local deadlines.
- Participation at all Early College meetings, including meetings with the EC Team, Coaches, DESE, higher education partners and budget meetings.
- Special projects, as assigned, related to college and career outcomes benefiting Early College and Counseling Departments, including but not limited to Naviance, grade reports, and post-secondary plan development.
- All other duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
- Experience working with high school students in school setting.
- Bachelor's degree required, Master degree preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Early College - mission and programming.
- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
